Pizza Tower is a 2D platformer that emphasizes movement, exploration, and score attack. It features pixel art inspired by the Wario Land series and a highly energetic soundtrack. In the game, players play as Peppino Spaghetti, a supersonic Italian middle-aged man on a mission to destroy the titular Pizza Tower to save his restaurant. Along the way, players will explore many wacky floors, collect items and beat up monsters. There are also various taunts in the Pizza Tower that the player can use to defeat enemies. Some of them are special, while others are normal. Amongst the many special taunts you can use in Pizza Tower, one of the most unique is Peppino’s Super Taunt.
This taunt combines Peppino’s usual electric poses with his speed and will destroy all onscreen-onscreen enemies, allowing you to reach the next level. This taunt is available on the second level of each world and will be activated once you reach that point. You will then be given a time limit to kill the enemies. Once you have completed this task, you can move to the next level, which will be a new set of puzzles and enemies for you to face. Here are all the taunts in Pizza Tower and instructions for performing them:
If the player causes Peppino to taunt just before being hit by an enemy or projectile, he will parry and attack back. This can be utilized to help destroy adversaries who frequently assault the player and deflect missiles thrown at them.
- Locate and target your victim.
- Wait until they almost attack you.
- Press the taunt button.
- All enemies on your way are dead.
When you press the taunt button, Peppino will make a stance. If the player performs a combo counter of 10 or more while taunting, a “Super Taunt” will occur, in which the taunts pop out, with one of four distinct taunts being selected (different taunts are simply cosmetic and have no effect on gameplay), and all enemies onscreen-onscreen are damaged and defeated. Here is how you do it:
- When you are static around you, you can super-taunt.
- All you need to do is to press Up+C.
Peppino will begin breakdancing in one location if the taunt button is held. After a while, a boombox will appear beside him, which will disappear as the player releases the button. While Peppino is breakdancing, the player has the ability to maneuver him. It performs no useful function.
