The name of this stunning cosmic horror adventure is Dolmen. It’s an action game in third person with RPG components. Let’s dive into the details of Dolmen, which depicts a voyage to an extraterrestrial planet known as Revion Prime.
While collecting samples of crystals with the name Dolmen, these crystals have surreal properties, and interacting with them creates effects between realities. Within these effects, creatures from different dimensions can cross into other dimensions.
Dolmen has a class called Recruit. It is equivalent to the wretch class, just like Elden Ring. So, the Recruit starts as a level one with only one attribute point in each of those areas, whereas the other ones already start with allocated points, which start as a level 8. The Recruit begins with a little shield, an ax, an arranged weapon, and a reactor. These are your starting items, with which you will begin with those in your base stats. Don’t forget to change these up as much as you like throughout the game.
Unfortunately, Dolmen has drawbacks as well. Apart from being unoptimized, the framerate irregularity shows the contrast during sequences, while most flipbooks provide a smoother viewing experience.
Dolmen Gameplay Features
Dolmen offers a diverse spectrum of armor and weaponry to support a variety of gaming styles, including melee and combined combat styles. The game’s unique Energy Mode mechanism allows the player to use energy instead of stamina to conduct melee attacks. Attacks are enhanced with one of the elements during this energetic state, producing more damage. Nevertheless, the optimum outcome will occur if the weapon has the elemental damage bonus and the target is weak.
Each extra player increases the complexity of the combat, ensuring that each encounter remains an exciting struggle. It should also be noted that the game is not only about bosses. Foes will also try to put your skills to the test as they work together to bring an end to your task.
